Signed an agreement to lend its first batch of Electronic Sales Register System Devices
On the 2nd of June, the Ministry of Revenue and Customs signed an agreement to lend its first batch of Electronic Sales Register System Devices resources to be utilized by several selected taxpayers.
This initiative is part of the Ministry’s incentive programs during this challenging time. The Ministry of Revenue and Customs is willing to lend each business a Point-of-Sales (POS) device, including an All-in-One computer, barcode scanner, and receipt printer. This strategic approach aims to help these businesses accurately record and report their financial activities, which will, in turn, allow them to comply with our tax laws and regulations accurately. MoRC will lend these electronics out no more than three months to use, which will give the taxpayer sufficient time to procure their own POS device.
MoRC is confident that this initiative will assist taxpayers in voluntary complying with their tax obligations and the Ministry in mobilizing domestic revenue to fuel our socio-economic development efforts.
