PUBLIC NOTICE

Customs & Excise Management (Amendment) Order 2023

We want to inform you about the latest amendment to the Customs & Excise Management (Amendment) Order 2023, concerning passenger vehicles with a model year equal to or more than 10 years from the date of import.

The prohibition on importing such vehicles will come into effect six months from the date of Gazettal.

It is important for the public to be aware of this change and any violations of this Order may result in forfeiture. We are working with our partner agencies (MEIDECC, MOI, Ports Authority Ltd and ROYCO Port Services Ltd) to finalise the procedures on the enforcement of the Order.

We encourage everyone to comply with these Orders to avoid any inconvenience or penalties.
